Dua is an Arabic word. Dua in Arabic literally means invocation, request, or supplication. It’s the prayer of asking God for benefits and needs. Derivatives: Dawa (a specific Dua- دعوة). Other derivatives دعاء supplication, يدعو supplicate, دعا supplicated. The word Dua in Arabic is used by Muslims and Non-Muslims too. The result?. I am not always could get what I expected, I can't remember how many times I got failed. but I never want to ask why my dua is not answered. I believe that du'a can help me in my effort. I can't remember how many times I got 'luck' in my effort. But I also believe that I cannot depend on dua. So I always try to do my best.
If a person made dua but kind of lost hope in it’s acceptance but then made the same dua with the believe that that dua will be accepted, will it be accepted like a dua which is made with full hope? A: Losing hope in Allah Ta`ala is not the work of a Muslim. And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
No human should have that kind of superiority over other humans. He’s just a human like you and I. All praise and importance should be for god alone and not a human. Allah always listens to our DUAs. If our DUAs are not accepted, then there may be specific reasons for it as mentioned in another post. These include the burden of our sins, and that it may be better for us that our DUAs are not answered at that time. However, we should stay persistent in asking Allah and not losing hope in the DUAs that we
